but that isn't the point here. You should weigh your car, actually, b/c most TTZs, depending on exhaust, downpipes, stereo equipment, etc., weight a bit more then 34xx pounds. I've seen many TTZs weight a good 3600-3800 at the track. You see, Marshall, your comments are mostly based on the numbers on paper, which is entirely fair (i.e. the 350 weights 3250#, it's FWHP, FWTQ, etc), but think of that torque curve versus yours also. You need to roll your car against a 350Z just to see how starting at different RPM and gears affects the outcome. If we are talking about road courses, the 350Z has a distinct advantage, even if it lacks a bit in power. I have seen (along with others) a "stage 2" 350Z pull a relatively healthy stage 3 Z32. As I know you are aware of, dyno numbers don't mean squat. It's a good way to monitor relative changes to a car, and even some level of an aid in tuning, but just because Z32 'x' puts down xRWHP and xRWTQ versus the factory-produced numbers for a Z33, we can't make accurate conclusions all that easily. Sure, generally speaking, a Z32TT is faster then a Z33, but I'm tired of reading people (others) say that they're TTZ can/will spank a Z33, just because they've seen a video or are posting that "some mid-life crisis" guy wouldn't do a roll-on with them. Either they are misinformed, or haven't found the right Z33 owner to roll-on with. I know of one here locally, that loves to roll with Z32s... That car is now SC'd, and is blazing fast... kinda pisses me off.. ;) Happy boosting and holidays, sir... :) SS
